Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area in accordance with company standards.
- Handle cash, credit, and check payments with the highest level of accuracy and security.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a calm and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the sales floor team to restock merchandise and keep the store organized.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures during every shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
