Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages and food items with precision and artistry.
- Operate, clean, and maintain commercial espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with patrons to ensure a welcoming and memorable experience.
- Adhere to strict health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies and monitoring product levels.
- Upsell specialty drinks and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a coffee shop, cafe, or food service environment (1+ year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso extraction, and latte art.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting (up to 30 lbs) and reaching.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Current Food Handler's Permit or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
