Responsibilities
- Brew and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages and food items according to strict operational standards.
- Interact warmly and professionally with customers to ensure a welcoming atmosphere in the store.
- Maintain a pristine, clean, and organized workspace, including the espresso bar, dining area, and restrooms.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process transactions and manage customer payments.
- Clean and sanitize equipment regularly to adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, restocking supplies, and preparing food products as needed.
- Engage with customers to learn their preferences and offer recommendations to enhance their experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a food service role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machines, and latte art techniques.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Reliability and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
