Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient assistance with daily living activities and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary care teams for seamless patient transitions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Support patient education on health management techniques
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience or relevant training
- Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual a plus)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
