Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Administer prescribed medications under professional supervision
- Assist with rehabilitation exercises and therapeutic activities
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA certification preferred)
- Minimum 6 months healthcare or caregiving experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work flexible evening/weekend shifts (4-12 hour shifts)
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Physical ability to lift patients and stand for extended periods
