Responsibilities
- Strategic Horizon Scanning: Continuously monitor global tech trends, academic research, and startup ecosystems to predict technology shifts relevant to 2026.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Translate long-term futuristic concepts (e.g., AGI, Neural Interfaces) into 2-3 year product roadmaps and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- R&D Leadership: Establish and manage internal innovation labs and incubator programs focused on emerging technologies.
- Stakeholder Management: Present complex future scenarios and strategic recommendations to the C-suite and board of directors in a clear, compelling manner.
- Partner Ecosystem: Identify and forge strategic partnerships with research institutions, tech labs, and thought leaders to validate our strategic assumptions.
- Competitive Analysis: Deep-dive analysis of competitor innovation strategies and emerging regulatory landscapes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in Technology Strategy, Product Management, or R&D leadership, with at least 3 years in a senior executive capacity.
- Education: Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field is highly preferred.
- Tech Stack Knowledge: Deep understanding of Generative AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain, or Quantum Computing concepts.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of identifying emerging trends and successfully integrating them into business strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex future concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Comfortable operating in high-uncertainty environments with rapid iteration cycles.
