As a key member of our C-suite advisory team, you'll collaborate with industry pioneers, emerging tech incubators, and academic institutions to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities. You'll develop actionable frameworks for exponential technologies and translate complex scenarios into strategic imperatives that drive our market leadership.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence) and forecast their commercial impact through 2026+
- Develop multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and market disruption timelines
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership on technological black swan events
- Build strategic partnerships with frontier tech startups and research institutions
- Translate foresight research into product development priorities and R&D allocation
- Present technology disruption briefings to board members and investor groups
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness across product, engineering, and business units
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented impact on business outcomes
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology disruption
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex technological transitions
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
