Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential for 2026 and beyond
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Present strategic technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish innovation frameworks for evaluating and adopting emerging technologies
- Represent the company at global technology conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-focused thinking and technology adoption strategies
- Analyze competitive landscapes to identify first-mover advantages in emerging tech domains
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 12+ years of progressive experience in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism
- Proven track record in developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, biotech, or other emerging tech domains
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through technology transformation initiatives
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
