Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop and publish annual technology roadmaps for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into roadmaps
- Conduct scenario planning for geopolitical and regulatory disruptions
- Represent company at global tech foresight conferences and summits
- Mentor cross-functional teams on emerging technology adoption
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring strategic innovation ROI
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- 10+ years in technology forecasting or strategic innovation roles
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends
- Expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or climate tech
- Proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Shell's)
- Strong network with global innovation labs and research institutions
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts to executive audiences
