Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Architect strategic frameworks for integrating breakthrough innovations into scalable solutions
- Present compelling future-state narratives to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to accelerate innovation
- Quantify ROI projections for emerging technology investments
- Author thought leadership publications on technological evolution trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or hyper-growth startups
- Proven expertise in emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (preferred)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Track record of launching at least two breakthrough products/services
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent experience)
- Strong public speaking experience at global tech forums
