Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with AI, quantum computing, and biotech teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and assess market viability
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and venture partners
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at global tech conferences
- Mentor internal 'Future Labs' incubator program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or innovation forecasting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Proven track record of launching technologies adopted by Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum algorithms, neurotech)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight credential preferred
- Published white papers or patents in technology innovation
- Experience scaling R&D operations from prototype to global deployment
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with visualization mastery
