Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and technological disruptions to forecast market shifts through 2030
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks for product development and market positioning
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare the organization for multiple future states
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight insights into innovation roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype future-ready solutions
- Monitor emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic integration opportunities
- Author thought leadership content on future trends and organizational resilience
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy and ROI
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and societal impact assessment
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex change initiatives
- Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leader or recognized speaker in innovation/strategy forums
