- Lead comprehensive trend analysis and horizon scanning to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and communicate strategic foresight frameworks to executive stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Architect scenario-planning models for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future market opportunities and risks
- Establish KPIs to track the evolution of future trends and measure strategic foresight impact
- Pioneer cross-functional workshops to embed foresight methodologies across organizational silos
- Produce high-impact thought leadership content positioning Horizon Insights as a future-ready authority
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Proven track record of translating foresight insights into executable business strategies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting complex futures to executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from ACFC or similar institution) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or strategic foresight projects
