Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and biotechnology integration initiatives
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and frontier tech labs
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on exponential technologies (AGI, synthetic biology, quantum networks)
- Drive organizational culture of radical experimentation and calculated risk-taking
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board for strategic decision-making
- Mentor innovation teams in speculative design and prototyping methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching industry-disrupting products or services
- Strong background in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams across technical and business domains
- Published thought leadership on future trends (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
- MSc/PhD in relevant field or equivalent demonstrable expertise
