Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Present compelling future-state narratives to executive leadership and board members
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation team focused on exponential technologies
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) within core business units
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services from concept to market
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AGI, quantum computing, biotech, or Web3
- Exceptional systems thinking and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Management, or equivalent
- Published thought leader with 50+ citations in peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Fluency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact matrix)
- Experience scaling innovation teams in high-growth tech environments
