Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast industry evolution through 2030
- Develop and implement strategic innovation frameworks for product development and market positioning
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for future market conditions and competitive landscapes
- Partner with engineering and design teams to integrate futuristic concepts into viable product roadmaps
- Produce forward-looking thought leadership content and executive briefings
- Establish KPIs for innovation effectiveness and track progress against future-state objectives
- Mentor junior strategists in futurism methodologies and strategic foresight practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Technology Policy, or related field
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into coherent narratives
- Experience facilitating executive-level workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism (whitepapers, articles, books)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi method, backcasting)
