Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and global megatrends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Lead innovation workshops with stakeholders to co-create future-proof business strategies
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and visualizations communicating future implications
- Integrate innovation principles into product development, marketing, and operational planning
- Advise leadership on ethical implications of emerging technologies and societal adaptation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented planning
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF, WFSF) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future-oriented projects or published foresight work
