Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, emerging technologies, and socio-economic shifts to inform 2026+ strategic vision
- Develop and maintain Horizon Labs' innovation pipeline, identifying high-impact opportunities across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps and business models
- Produce executive-ready trend reports and scenario-planning frameworks for board-level decisions
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Drive culture of innovation through thought leadership and internal futurism training programs
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record translating complex trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: generative AI, synthetic biology, decentralized systems
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (e.g., books, whitepapers)
- Experience scaling innovation frameworks in fast-paced tech environments
