Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech, etc.) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ market landscape
- Develop forward-looking scenarios and strategic roadmaps for product innovation and business transformation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight methodologies into R&D and product development cycles
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype future-focused solutions using emerging technologies
- Deliver executive briefings and stakeholder communications on emerging threats and opportunities
- Establish innovation KPIs and track progress against future-state organizational capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven experience with scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable business impact
