Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and disruptive market trends through 2026+
- Develop future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for product innovation, market expansion, and operational transformation
- Partner with engineering and design teams to embed foresight into R&D pipelines and product lifecycles
- Present insights and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops on future-proofing business models and organizational resilience
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record in translating future trends into market-ready products or business models
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience designing and executing scenario-planning methodologies for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong presentation and communication skills with executive-level gravitas
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD) preferred
