Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Author visionary white papers and executive briefings on emerging disruption vectors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Design and implement risk mitigation strategies for technological black swan events
- Mentor internal teams in futures thinking and adaptive innovation practices
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS from APF preferred)
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization capabilities
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
