Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, Web4.0)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape research for strategic IP positioning
- Drive innovation workshops with engineering and product teams to translate future visions
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technology adoption ROI and impact
- Nurture partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching technology innovation programs
- Strong financial modeling skills for technology investment analysis
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry forums
- Certification in strategic innovation management (e.g., MIT Sloan, Stanford d.school)
- Experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management
