Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum AI, neurotech, and climate resilience systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with potential to revolutionize industries by 2026
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on future-proof architecture blueprints
- Author strategic briefs for C-suite executives on technology adoption risks and opportunities
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate early-stage startups in frontier tech domains
- Represent the company at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies with 8+ years in tech strategy
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps with 5+ year implementation horizons
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Published thought leadership on future trends in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for trend analysis
- Strong network connections with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Fluency in English with excellent written communication for executive briefings
