Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions in emerging tech domains
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercial potential
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to executive leadership
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory developments affecting future innovation
- Mentor technical teams on future-proofing architectures and methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products or services
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience developing long-term tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 or scale-up companies
- Certifications in emerging tech (e.g., TensorFlow, AWS Quantum, or similar) preferred
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to inspire cross-functional teams
