Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) and assess commercial viability
- Coordinate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions and validate technical feasibility
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and track innovation ROI across departments
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for future-focused R&D
- Develop talent pipelines for specialized future-tech roles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in senior leadership roles
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Experience developing long-term tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities
- MBA or Master's in Technology/Engineering preferred
- Certification in emerging technology (e.g., AWS ML, Google AI) required
