Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligning with 2026 market trends and organizational goals
- Identify emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) with disruptive potential through rigorous research and analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Build strategic partnerships with tech startups, research institutions, and industry disruptors
- Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Mentor technical teams in future-skill development and adaptive methodologies
- Monitor global tech policy and ethical frameworks to ensure responsible innovation
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact on future tech adoption
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, or synthetic biology
- Track record of launching successful tech products with 3+ years market impact
- Certifications in Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation Management, or equivalent
- Exceptional data analysis skills with proficiency in scenario planning and trend forecasting
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding or innovation grants
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, MIT Media Lab, etc.)
