Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships and acquisition targets in frontier tech sectors
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Oversee R&D budget allocation for innovation incubators and pilot programs
- Champion sustainable technology adoption across global operations
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future tech integration strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/metaverse)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar designation required
- Experience presenting to C-suite and investor audiences
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Global mindset with experience in cross-cultural technology deployment
