Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to inform 2026+ strategic roadmaps
- Develop comprehensive technology adoption plans aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research for next-gen innovations
- Create detailed technology forecasts and risk mitigation strategies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Manage portfolio of experimental projects with 3-5 year horizons
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership role
- Proven track record in developing long-term (5+ year) tech roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in technology forecasting or strategic innovation (preferred)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Demonstrated success in managing ambiguity and complex projects
