Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging technology trends through market research, patent analysis, and global stakeholder interviews
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and market disruption potential
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory impacts on future tech adoption
- Drive innovation workshops to cultivate next-generation solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of these domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech ecosystem
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards of directors
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation management preferred
