Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities and strategic pivots
- Translate foresight research into executable product development plans
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and innovation maturity
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization (blockchain, AR/VR, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Business Strategy, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning and future-state modeling methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technology trends and adoption curves
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology transformation initiatives
