Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with emerging trends (quantum, AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Analyze global tech policy and regulatory shifts to inform strategic positioning
- Partner with venture capital firms to identify disruptive startups for acquisition/partnerships
- Deliver executive briefings on technological disruption scenarios for 2026-2030
- Drive innovation sprints focused on solving complex future-facing challenges
- Build thought leadership through white papers, patents, and industry speaking
Qualifications
- 8+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or futurist roles with Fortune 500/VC-backed companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Advanced degree in STEM, Business, or Futurism required
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with scenario planning methodologies
- Certifications in technology forecasting or innovation management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or patented innovations
