Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market forecasts and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying, evaluating, and integrating emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to anticipate disruptive shifts
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors, board members, and industry stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
- Champion ethical tech governance frameworks for responsible innovation
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global tech ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture innovation
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies to commercial success
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, synthetic biology, or spatial computing
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA/MSc preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong executive communication with ability to translate complex concepts
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging tech domains
- Global network within tech innovation communities
