- Analyze emerging tech patent landscapes and regulatory shifts to identify strategic inflection points
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration protocols
- Present technology impact assessments to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Establish partnerships with academic labs and government initiatives for quantum-AI convergence
- Build internal innovation culture through hackathons and future-tech incubation programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with demonstrated impact on 5+ year roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced AI
- Published research or patents in future technologies (IEEE Nature journals preferred)
- Experience scaling tech teams from prototype to enterprise-level deployment
- Certification in futures thinking methodologies (e.g., foresight, scenario planning)
- Track record of securing $5M+ in R&D funding for experimental projects
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Systems Engineering
