As part of our elite Future Intelligence Unit, you'll lead cross-functional initiatives to anticipate market disruptions, identify breakthrough opportunities, and develop implementation frameworks for next-generation technologies. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026+ horizon, incorporating AI, quantum computing, biotech, and spatial computing
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to forecast industry impacts and competitive threats
- Analyze patent landscapes, academic research, and market signals to identify disruptive innovations
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future technology applications
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with startups, universities, and research institutions
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of forecasting technological disruption (examples: AI adoption, blockchain evolution)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, neurotech, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, Economics, or related field
- Experience with foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi studies, scenario planning)
- Strong analytical skills with data visualization and trend interpretation expertise
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals preferred
