Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in AI ethics, quantum algorithms, and carbon-negative tech solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for innovation scouting
- Present strategic technology recommendations to C-suite executives and investors
- Oversee prototyping of emerging technologies with our engineering teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape mapping for emerging fields
- Mentor junior strategists and organize cross-functional innovation workshops
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up tech companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable tech)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized technologies from concept to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Certifications in strategic foresight (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner) or technology management
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future studies
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams with $5M+ R&D budgets
