Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech sectors
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis for emerging technologies
- Prototype minimum viable products for futuristic solutions using rapid iteration methodologies
- Collaborate with venture capital partners to secure funding for moonshot projects
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage vendor relationships with quantum hardware and AI model providers
- Develop intellectual property portfolios through patent filings and trade secrets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech innovations
- Certification in futures forecasting or technology assessment
- Experience securing Series B+ funding for tech ventures
- Strong network connections with academic research institutions
