Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with 2026 commercialization focus
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological capabilities with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
- Drive implementation of pilot programs for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting and implementing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum applications, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into strategic insights
- Strong stakeholder management experience across technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., Stanford AI, MIT Future Tech) preferred
- Portfolio of technology strategy projects with measurable impact
