Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech landscapes (quantum computing, biotech, AI) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop and implement forward-looking technology roadmaps aligned with global market trends
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Secure and manage $5M+ innovation grants from federal and private sources
- Drive ethical framework development for emerging technologies
- Collaborate with academic institutions to shape future tech curricula
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or hyper-growth startups
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or climate tech
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants or venture capital for R&D
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
