Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps spanning AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Lead moonshot projects with $10M+ R&D budgets, managing cross-functional teams of PhDs and engineers
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global research labs
- Present futuristic technology frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Conduct horizon scanning to anticipate paradigm-shifting innovations across industries
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging technologies to ensure responsible deployment
- Manage venture capital portfolios for spin-off technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture capital
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Biotechnology (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Experience with $50M+ budget management and cross-continental project execution
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in at least two programming languages and data visualization tools
