Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and emerging market demands
- Champion innovation through cross-functional R&D initiatives and external technology scouting
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven insights
- Manage technology partnerships and startup engagements in emerging tech ecosystems
- Quantify ROI of technological investments through market modeling and competitive analysis
- Mentor junior strategists and foster an innovation-focused culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption and commercialization
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum computing, biotech, AI, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in market research and predictive modeling
- Exceptional communication abilities for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and external partnerships
- Certifications in innovation management or technology strategy preferred
