Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with global sustainability goals and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum-AI hybrid systems and neural interface technologies
- Develop predictive analytics models for emerging tech adoption curves and regulatory landscapes
- Secure strategic partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and global innovation ecosystems
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite executives and venture capital consortiums
- Author thought leadership publications in Nature Technology and IEEE Futures
- Mentor PhD fellows in emerging tech ethics and responsible innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering (or equivalent disruptive experience)
- 5+ years in technology strategy at companies with >$1B R&D budgets (SpaceX, DeepMind, or similar)
- Published research in top-tier journals on AI ethics or quantum computing applications
- Proven track record of securing $10M+ in government/private innovation grants
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Q#)
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for sensitive R&D projects
