Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future product concepts and service innovations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy and ethical implications of emerging innovations
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and driving adoption
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing stakeholders
- Strong project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation (articles, patents, etc.)
