Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Lead the creation of a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns emerging technologies with business goals for the fiscal year 2026 and beyond.
- Trend Analysis & Foresight: Conduct rigorous PESTLE and SWOT analyses to identify disruptive technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Autonomous Systems) and their potential impact on the industry.
- Innovation Lab Management: Oversee the internal innovation lab, prototyping concepts and validating them through MVP (Minimum Viable Product) testing.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Bridge the gap between technical teams and executive leadership, translating complex future scenarios into clear business value propositions.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor global tech landscapes to ensure Apex Horizon remains agile and ahead of competitor developments.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets or partnership opportunities in emerging tech sectors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Strategic Planning, Technology Consulting, or R&D Management, with a proven track record of leading large-scale innovation projects.
- Tech Acumen: Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, Blockchain, IoT, Quantum Computing) and their practical applications.
- Strategic Vision: Exceptional ability to think critically about the long-term future (horizon scanning) and translate abstract concepts into concrete strategies.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and C-suite executives.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems with limited information.
