Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and sustainable tech paradigms
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives to identify emerging threats and opportunities
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and biotech convergence
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors with data-backed impact projections
- Manage $5M+ R&D portfolio allocation across next-gen tech verticals
- Partner with government agencies on policy development for emerging tech governance
- Mentor emerging talent in our Future Tech Fellowship program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic tech leadership with proven 5+ year horizon planning success
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience scaling technology operations across global markets
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Security clearance eligibility (federal projects component)
- Portfolio demonstrating technology roadmaps with measurable 2020-2025 outcomes
