Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry forecasts and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3) with transformative potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Build executive-level frameworks for technology adoption risk assessment and ROI modeling
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and technology incubators
- Create compelling narratives and data visualizations to communicate future tech opportunities to stakeholders
- Mentor a team of innovation specialists in emerging technology domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of developing future-focused technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology areas (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Strong executive communication abilities with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Professional certifications in technology strategy (e.g., TOGAF, CTP) preferred
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
