Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging trends in quantum AI, biocomputing, and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints to prototype breakthrough solutions for climate resilience and human augmentation
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Present future-state scenarios to C-suite executives and investor boards
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with 8+ years in tech strategy
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep expertise in tech forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar journals on future tech ethics
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding from DARPA/NIH/NASA
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Global speaking engagements at Davos/WEF/TED Future conferences
