Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR)
- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic research to identify disruptive innovations
- Build strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley startups and research institutions
- Present technology roadmaps to investors and board members
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts impacting tech adoption timelines
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for pilot programs and acquisitions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D management, or venture capital
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven ability to scale technologies from lab to commercial deployment
- Track record of securing $10M+ in funding for innovative projects
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Experience working with Fortune 500 C-suite executives
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (e.g., MIT Tech Review)
