- Identify and secure partnerships with frontier tech startups and academic institutions
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board members using predictive analytics
- Manage $10M+ innovation portfolio with quarterly ROI optimization cycles
- Author thought leadership publications on tech singularity preparedness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech specialization
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations (patents preferred)
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (Moore's Law, Kurzweil metrics)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering
- Deep understanding of AI alignment challenges and quantum computing architectures
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Portfolio demonstrating at least two 2025+ tech implementations
