- Develop and implement 5-year technology innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping and validating disruptive technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property portfolio expansion
- Mentor emerging tech talent and foster innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capabilities
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding/grants
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management preferred
