Responsibilities
- Drive R&D Strategy: Define and execute a forward-looking technology roadmap focused on breakthrough innovations for the 2026 timeframe.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Mentor and manage diverse teams of engineers, data scientists, and product designers to foster a culture of innovation.
- Market Analysis: Identify emerging trends in Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, and IoT to maintain a competitive edge.
- Prototype Development: Oversee the creation of high-fidelity prototypes and proof-of-concepts for next-generation products.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical concepts to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders with clarity and impact.
- Patent & IP Management: Lead initiatives to secure intellectual property and drive thought leadership in the industry.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in technology leadership, R&D management, or a senior engineering role within a Fortune 500 company.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Machine Learning, Neural Networks, or Quantum Algorithms.
- Strategic Vision: Proven ability to translate futuristic concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated success in navigating ambiguity and rapidly changing environments.
